About Strategi

Built for federal delivery.

Since 2008, Strategi has paired senior technical leadership with teams that execute — bringing structure, speed, and measurable outcomes to the hardest problems in government technology.

Our story

Every engagement builds something reusable. Every product started as a delivery accelerator.

Strategi started in 2008 with a single focus: IT strategy and enterprise architecture, to build accelerators and repeatable methodologies that delivered consistent results faster than traditional consulting.

That approach created a pattern we’ve followed ever since: engagement work reveals a need, we build a tool or methodology to solve it, and over time that tool becomes a product.

Our ACA analytics platform came from a CMS engagement. Aperture — our portfolio management product — grew from a decade of enterprise architecture methodology. Each capability started as a delivery accelerator and evolved into something we could offer independently.

Today, Strategi brings a full capability stack — CIO/CTO advisory, cloud and DevSecOps, systems modernization, digital transformation, and AI — each backed by our own tools and platforms. We still deliver services hands-on. The difference is that every engagement is powered by technology we built, operate, and continue to invest in.

Every engagement starts with three questions:

  • What does success look like in production?
  • What are the procurement and security constraints?
  • And how do we get measurable results in weeks, not years?

Foundation

Started with a single focus: IT strategy and enterprise architecture. Built accelerators and a repeatable systems inventory methodology that delivered architecture engagements faster and more consistently than traditional consulting. Early work with Navy/Marine Corps Intranet, A-123 financial audits, and civilian agencies established the delivery approach everything else would build on.

2012 – 2015

Growth & Scale

Selected by CMS to develop enterprise architecture across all 56 states and territories — our systems inventory methodology scaled to national scope. That work led us to build our own analytics platform for ACA implementation reporting to the White House: the first time an engagement need became a Strategi product. Expanded across federal health and civilian agencies.

2017 – 2021

Product-enabled Delivery

Turned a decade of enterprise architecture methodology and our analytics platform into Aperture® — a portfolio management product we could sell independently. Took it into defense, supporting the Department of the Air Force Enterprise DevSecOps initiative and earning our first SBIR awards. Added cloud and DevSecOps, systems modernization, and digital transformation as service offerings — each built on the same structured delivery approach, now paired with our own technology.

2021 – Today

Product & Platform

Multiple SBIR innovation awards across AI, data, and digital transformation. Developed our agentic AI platform: Q.With secure connectors, evaluation harnesses, multi-agent orchestration, it follows the same pattern: built from real engagement needs, now available as a product. Full capability stack from CIO/CTO advisory through AI, every offering backed by platforms we built and operate. SBIR portfolio enables sole-source procurement across federal agencies.

What we believe

Independence, integrity, and outcomes — in that order.

  • Integrity as foundation

    Every relationship starts with trust.

We scope work honestly, flag risks early, and tell clients what they need to hear. When we team with primes or other specialists, we bring the same standard: do what we said we’d do, deliver what we committed to deliver.

    • Honest scoping and risk communication.
    •  Commitments honored: timeline, quality, budget.
    • Transparency in delivery status and decisions.
  • Independence by design

    We’re privately held and vendor-neutral.

Our recommendations are driven by what fits the mission. When we advise on architecture or procurement strategy, the only interest we’re serving is yours.

    • Objective advice backed by delivery experience.
    • No conflicts of interest in vendor selection.
    • Technology recommendations driven by mission fit.
  • Outcomes over output

We measure success by what works in production.

Our preferred model is the classic partner engagement: senior leaders stay hands-on, provide thought leadership, and take direct responsibility for impact. If something isn’t moving the needle, we say so and adjust.

    • Define success metrics before writing code.
    • Deliver working capability, not just artifacts.
    • Measure and improve continuously after deployment.

How we work

A delivery model optimized for federal constraints

  • Small, senior teams

Every engagement is staffed with experienced practitioners.

Our leads stay hands-on, write code, review architecture, and sit with your stakeholders. We don’t sell a senior team and deliver a junior one.

  • Procurement aware

We scope work to fit how government actually buys.

That means understanding SBIR Phase III mechanics, structuring SOWs for contract vehicles, and helping your contracting team build required documentation.

  • Built to sustain

We don’t want you to depend on us forever.

Every engagement produces artifacts, patterns, and training your team can operate and extend. We document decisions, not just code.

Strategi is reliable, dependable and more. The way they tackle a problem shows intelligence and innovation. They are professional and productive, producing deliverables on time.  I couldn’t have asked for a better working relationship.
